FDA issues food safety alert for canned tuna

Posted: Updated:
WASHINGTON -

A food safety alert has been issued involving two of the most popular brands of canned tuna.

The FDA says certain five-ounce cans of Bumble Bee and Chicken of the Sea tuna may have loose seals that could cause the tuna to spoil or become contaminated by bacteria.

If you have one of the cans, you can return them to the store where you bought it for a refund.
