Police seek Kentucky Avenue bank robbery suspect

INDIANAPOLIS -

Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a bank on the southwest side of Indianapolis Tuesday.

Officers were told a white male, possibly in his 30s, showed a note demanding money to tellers at the PNC Bank branch in the 3000 block of Kentucky Avenue around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday. The teller complied and gave the man an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as standing 6'2" tall with a thin build. He was wearing black sunglasses, a black hoodie and black jeans. He was last seen fleeing on foot toward Mooresville Road.

There were no injuries reported and no weapon was seen.
