INDIANAPOLIS -

The Indiana Pacers joined WTHR in the studio Tuesday to learn more about the business of basketball - and that includes the business of local television news.

SkyTrak Meteorologist Chris Wright offered a personal forecast for the Pacers' upcoming games while Ben Hansbrough looked on.

Orlando Johnson, Paul George and Danny Granger sat in for Dave Calabro and did a fantastic job delivering the sportscast at 5:50 pm.

"Right now I'm with my teammates, and we're rolling," Johnson said. "We have a four-game lead on the Bulls in the Central Division, winning seven out of eight games. What's the deal? Why are we playing so well? Who is responsible? Danny, you tell 'em!"

"David West!" said Granger. "David West scored 31 points! Double figures in the last 24 games. And guess who else has been helping us?"

"Roy Hibbert! Lately he's been playing exceptional basketball," said George.

"He's really been the turnaround for this year," said Granger.

Granger also pointed out that Coach Frank Vogel recently enjoyed his 100th career win "at the tender age of 49."
