The Indiana Pacers held off the Chicago Bulls 97-92 Sunday night in Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

Chicago pulled within three and had the ball with :07 but was unable to launch a tying three-point attempt.

David West led the Pacers with 31 points.  George Hill chipped in 21 and Roy Hibbert 18.

West had put the Pacers up 95-89 when he was fouled on a put-back and made the free throw for a three-point play inside the game's final minute.

Indiana now stands 38-22 on the season, having won seven of its last eight games, including a 6-1 record since the All-Star break. The Pacers now hold a four-game lead over second-place Chicago.

Marco Belinelli and Jimmy Butler scored 20 apiece to lead Chicago.

Indiana started fast, holding a 32-21 lead after the first quarter. But the Bulls shaved the lead to 47-40 by halftime, and closed to within three, 69-66, heading into the final twelve minutes.

The Bulls finally tied the score at 72 on Luol Deng's 8-footer early in the fourth and again at 80 when Butler made two free throws with 7:04 left.
