Indianapolis Metro Police are investigating the death of man who was struck by a vehicle in the bar of a parking lot early Friday.
It happened in 8800 block of South Emerson in the parking lot of "That Place Bar" early Friday morning.
According to the police report, officers were checking on a disturbance when they heard a woman screaming for help. Officers found Donna Miner crouched over Jeffery Hawkins, who was lying on the ground and bleeding from the head.
Medics were called to the scene and transported Hawkins to Wishard Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Donna Miner was transported to Wishard Hospital for a blood draw and was later arrested for Operating a Vehicle Causing Death.
