INDIANAPOLIS -

Pacers center Roy Hibbert and Golden State's David Lee were both suspended for one game following a shoving match during Tuesday night's game. Lance Stephenson was fined $35,000 in connection with the incident.

It started when Hibbert and Lee shoved each other under the basket. The Warriors' Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Pacers' forward David West got involved for a total of six technicals.

Hibbert was ejected. He later talked about what happened.

"To tell you the truth, it was between me and David Lee. I don't know why he came at me like that. If the other guys want to run up on me, that's...I don't know. It's unfortunate," said Hibbert.

Hibbert said he wasn't trying to protect himself when Curry ran at him and Hibbert pushed him away.

"He just ran on me and I just...I don't know. It was between me and David Lee and he wants to get involved and I'm the type of person, I don't want to start anything with someone who's smaller than me. If somebody my size will talk it out like men...but I don't take pride in tossing a little guy to the side," he said.

The skirmish eventually ended in the seats behind the baseline.

George Hill had 23 points and seven assists, and Paul George had 21 points and 11 rebounds for the Pacers (36-21), who have won five straight.

Curry scored a season-high 38 points and Thompson had 13 for the Warriors (33-24), who had a three-game winning streak snapped.

The Pacers won the game 108-97. They'll host the Clippers Thursday night.
