Nick Lachey doing album of lullabies

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Forget about singing your own kid to sleep - why not have a former member of a boy band do it for you?

Nick Lachey is coming out music that helped his kid get to sleep at night - and he wants to do the same for other dads, too. The album is called "A Father's Lullaby" and features 12 songs, including classics like Brahms lullaby and four original songs he wrote for his own son, born last September.

Meanwhile his group, 98 Degrees is coming out with a new album in May - hopefully one that won't be sleep-inducing.
