Adele wins an Oscar

Posted: Updated:
LOS ANGELES -

Adele usually has the gift of gab when it comes to winning awards.

Last night at the Oscars, she broke into tears. Adele won the Oscar for best original song for co-writing the title song from "Skyfall" with Paul Epworth.

He says she's the best person he's ever worked with. As Adele left the stage, she gestured to the audience and said, "You're all amazing as well."

Meanwhile, a film about a musician won best documentary. "Searching for Sugar Man," about Detroit singer-songwriter Rodriguez, captured that award.
