INDIANAPOLIS -

Saturday night, the Speedway gas station on East 21st street sold a one-million dollar Powerball ticket. Just the week before, they sold a $9.5 million dollar Hoosier Lotto ticket.

"It seems to be they are on a roll!" said David Hack.

Saturday night's winning powerball ticket will put an extra million dollars in someone's pocket. Combine that with last week's $9.5 million dollar Hoosier lotto ticket and this store is seeing extra business.

"The first thing we said, how amazing is that. That is where we are coming to buy our ticket today," said Janice Boyd.

Janice Boyd and David Hack are from Michigan City. They weren't leaving town until they stopped here to try their luck.

"We have a location at home that we know is lucky. Perhaps this is known to be lucky. If it could do it twice, it could do it three times," said Boyd.

While our Eyewitness News crews were at the Speedway gas station on 21st Street, Julius Vaughn cashed in on his overnight win.

Vaughn says he spends about 30-dollars a week on lottery tickets. This weekend's game was his largest win in a while with a $100 prize.

"I think there is something in this room!" said Vaughn.

The chance of a ticket winning a Powerball jackpot is 1 in 175,223,510. You have much better odds at dying from a lighting strike.

The winner of Saturday night's one-million dollar Powerball ticket has not come forward.

The fight over the $9.5 million lottery jackpot is currently in a legal battle. Late last week, a judge told the Hoosier Lottery winner she couldn't cash in, after the woman's co-workers said the ticket was part of their office pool.
