Northside crash sends five to the hospital

INDIANAPOLIS -

Several people were taken to area hospitals early Sunday morning, following a crash on the northside of Indianapolis.

The two car accident involving a dark colored Chevy sedan and red Camaro happened at the intersection of East 46th Street and Allisonville Road just before 3 a.m.

According to IMPD Public Information Officer Kendale Adams five people were transported to the hospital with two having critical but non-life threatening injuries.

Adams also added alcohol is believed to involved and members of the FACT team were called to the scene.

The accident is currently under investigation.
