INDIANAPOLIS -

Indianapolis Metro Police have identified a woman found dead of a gunshot wound on the city's east side Thursday night.

Officers were called to the 3600 block of North LaSalle Street shortly after 6:00 pm Thursday. They found a woman with a gunshot wound on the porch of a home.

EMS crews arrived and pronounced her dead at the scene.

Police say the victim is 45-year-old Kimberly Jackson.

Police took several people in for questioning, but no arrests have been made in the shooting. No suspect information is available.
