Gas station attendant arrested for selling spice

BARGERSVILLE -

Police in Johnson County have arrested a gas station attendant for selling Spice out of a gas station in Bargersville.

Sheriff's deputies say Amritpal Singh sold Spice to an informant this past October at the Phillips 66 along State Road 135.

The informant had contacted police, after she said Singh offered to sell her the synthetic drug Spice from behind the counter, and she refused.

Undercover deputies took her back to the gas station a few weeks later, to buy the drug.

Singh was arrested Friday, after evidence from that purchase, sent to the Indiana State Police lab, tested positive for a controlled substance.

Police had seized $396.00 in cash and 34 bottles of spice from the gas station.

They say Singh kept them in a box behind the counter at the Phillips 66.
