GREENWOOD -

Imagine your child in the saddle; or hanging out with Super Heroes. Whether they are into princesses or computer games, there is a summer camp for them.

Believe it or not, now is the time to plan for summer break.

The YMCA and the Indianapolis Zoo are already registering campers for their summer programs; and organizers say they fill up fast.

The YMCA offers dozens of options at its various campuses in central Indiana.  Super hero, Dino, Star Wars, princess are just a few of the themes.  The camps are full or half day and the cost based on income.

The Indianapolis Zoo offers 20 different camps that spokesman Jon Glesing says allows kids to "see things at the zoo you wouldn't normally during a normal visit at the zoo."

At Four Willows Farm in Greenwood, children age 4 and up can learn to ride, care for and saddle horses.  Trainer Jennifer Abel believes, "It builds confidence, and respect for animals."  And there is a discount if you register by early March.

The Indiana State Museum, Herron School of Art, and IndyParks,  also offer summer camps.

Prices for camps vary.
