John Mayer's laugh is different

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

John Mayer's laugh changed when he suffered voice problems.

Mayer tells Rolling Stone says he used to do "that 'I'm embarrassed' high-pitched laugh," but not anymore.

He says he can't project like he once did and he's had to find new ways to do everything involving his voice. Mayer needed two surgeries to repair a granuloma in his throat.
