Plans to give away $6,000 for best cartwheel
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) January 30, 2013
Verity Credit Union launched their second Cartwheel for a Cause contest earlier this month. Washington residents who are 18 years or older can submit a short video to win $5,000 for the cause of their choice and $1,000 for themself. Videos can be submitted at veritymom.com until 5:00 p.m. on Feb. 25.
The video must feature a description of the cause you think deserves a $5,000 donation, and a cartwheel, or anything representing a cartwheel.
Two runners-up will receive $1,000 donated to the causes highlighted in their respective videos and $200 for the contestant. All causes must be a designated 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization.
The general public can vote for their favorite video from 9:00 a.m. on Feb. 26 to 5:00 p.m. March 11.
Danielle Gahl, Verity’s current online spokesperson for veritymom.com, blogs and posts videos for the credit union.
“Last time we had 37 videos submitted,” said Gahl. “I can’t wait to see some amazing causes and acrobatics this year!”
