According to his personal spokesperson Jake Henderson, Calhoun was in town to line up production for two new films his motion picture company, Clear Jet Motion Pictures, LLC, will begin filming later this year.

Calhoun stayed at the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel, where he was also an attendee at the Producers Guild of America Awards.

Dining later at the exclusive Mr. Chow’s restaurant in downtown Beverly Hills, he told an interviewer from celebrity news website TMZ that details on his new films will be released during the 2014 Sundance Film Festival.

“We’re in the process of putting finishing touches on the script and also finalizing production details. A lot of great people are working to make all this happen,” says Calhoun.

Dressed in a gray Banana Republic suit the millionaire producer and real estate mogul was tight lipped about his studio’s future plans. But he did allow paparazzi to get shots of him next to his quarter million dollar set of wheels—a shiny new white Ferrari.

One of the new releases “will be a little controversial in nature,” according to spokesperson Henderson.

But further details may have to wait until next year’s Sundance.
