Eric Clapton prepares "Old Sock"

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

Eric Clapton is at the point in his career where he can play whatever songs he wants with whomever he wants, and he can call the album whatever he pleases.

Case in point: his next album is a collection of his favorite songs by other artists and he's calling it "Old Sock."

Paul McCartney joins him for "All Of Me."

Steve Winwood plays on "Still Got The Blues."

Chaka Khan sings backup on "Get On Over."

Clapton does two new songs as well. "Old Sock" is out March 12.
