Former Indianapolis Colts center Jeff Saturday has announced his retirement.
Saturday told radio station WFNI-AM Friday that he will retire after Sunday's Pro Bowl in Honolulu. The game will be the center's sixth Pro Bowl in a 14-year career.
He also stood as a leader of the NFL Players' Association and was at the forefront of the players' effort to end the lockout in 2011.
Saturday began his career with the Colts in 1999. He signed with Green Bay in the offseason and started 14 games for the Packers this past season.
