BLOOMINGTON -

Police arrested three people in a meth lab bust in Bloomington Wednesday.

Officers with the Indiana State Police Meth Task Force were led to the residence at 1021 N. Summitt Street and discovered an active methamphetamine laboratory at the home.

Police arrested 27-year-old Joshua Scroggins and 21-year-old Misty Chambers on several felony charges related to the methamphetamine lab. They also arrested 29-year-old Dale McCutchen on a misdemeanor charge of visiting a common nuisance.

All three are listed as Bloomington residents.

Four children found inside the home, ranging in age from five months to four years old, were placed in protective custody by Child Protective Services. Scroggins and Chambers were also charged with four felony counts each of neglect of a dependant.

The Bloomington Police Department assisted with the investigation. The arrestees were taken to the Monroe County Jail.
