INDIANAPOLIS -
Indianapolis police have made an arrest in a hit-and-run accident that killed a woman who was walking along a city street.
Police said in a statement that 50-year-old Greg Hudson was arrested Thursday in Monday's death of 63-year-old Kathleen Clark of Indianapolis. He remains jailed in Marion County on a preliminary charge of felony failure to stop after an accident causing death.
According to police, Hudson is a Shelbyville resident and that he was arrested after police found Hudson and his vehicle in Shelby County.
Police investigators credit tips from members of the community for helping them find Hudson. Clark was found dead Monday morning on a grassy area along a street on Indianapolis' south side.
