Miguel talks about his five Grammy nods

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK -

R-and-B singer Miguel is up for five Grammys next month, including the coveted song of the year.

He's also nominated for best contemporary urban album for "Kaleidoscope Dream," best R-and-B song, best R-and-B performance, and his collaboration with rapper Wale, called "Lotus Flower Bomb," is nominated for best rap song.

The 25-year-old singer says it's always been a dream of his to be acknowledged by his peers.

He calls the nominations for his dangerous, gritty and scandalously romantic music "a blessing."
