An Indianapolis man was arrested Tuesday after police say he had loaded weapons and illegal drugs in the same home where he lived with his two-year-old son.

Police arrested Santana Kendall, 20, in the 900 block of North Dearborn Street. He had outstanding arrest warrants for felony battery and domestic battery.

During the arrest, deputies seized a loaded AR-15 assault rifle, a loaded .380 caliber handgun, about five pounds of marijuana packaged for distribution, a bottle of prescription pills, ammunition, scales and approximately $800 in cash.

Deputies felt that Kendall's young son was endangered inside the home. The boy was released to his mother.

Kendall was arrested by Deputies for felony charges of neglect of dependent, dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance. Deputies are coordinating their continuing investigation with the Marion County Prosecutor's Office.
