Anthony Hamilton surprised by Grammy nominations

ATLANTA -

R-and-B singer Anthony Hamilton is headed back to the Grammy's thanks to his album "Back to Love."

Hamilton who has a total of 12 Grammy nominations says he was amazed when he found out that his latest work was nominated for best R-and-B album. He says the "music didn't have much of a buzz," so when the call came from his agent he was surprised.

The 41-year-old, whose song "Pray for Me" is also up for best R-and-B song, says "this time, it feels better."

Hamilton says the nominations prove to the record labels that even though his last album wasn't a huge commercial success, he's "still that same guy" people want to hear.
