NEW YORK -

A group of children from Connecticut's Sandy Hook Elementary School have recorded a version of "Over the Rainbow" to raise money for charity.

Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth, former members of the Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club hosted the recording session at their Connecticut home on Monday.

The children, all from Newtown, where the tragedy took place, recorded the song with singer-songwriter Ingrid Michaelson. Copies went on sale yesterday on Amazon and iTunes. Proceeds from the song will benefit the United Way of Western Connecticut and the Newtown Youth Academy.
