Three injured in northeast Indianapolis crash

INDIANAPOLIS -

Three drivers were injured in a crash on the northeast side of Indianapolis Monday evening.

The accident happened at East 56th Street and Kessler Boulevard East Drive around 6 p.m. A female driver of a Nissan Maxima was taken to Methodist Hospital for treatment of extensive injuries and a loss of consciousness.

A man driving Honda Odyssey was taken to Methodist Hospital for a complaint of back and neck pain. Also, the female driver of a Chevrolet HHR was taken to Community North Hospital to be checked out.

Police have not released any other details of the crash.
