Andy Griggs releases song in memory of Sandy Hook victims

NASHVILLE -

When Andy Griggs heard about the shootings in Newtown, Connecticut, his reaction was to put his emotions into song.

He and collaborator Bobby Pinson wrote a song called "20 Little Angels." The song is streaming on Griggs' Web site and it will be on iTunes this week. All proceeds from the sale of the song will go to the Sandy Hook Support Fund through the United Way.

Griggs says response to the song has been so overwhelming that he's had to take measures to keep his site from crashing.
