Indiana attorney general sues heating and cooling company

INDIANAPOLIS -

An Indianapolis heating and cooling company is facing a lawsuit from the state attorney general.

Mr. Quik Home Services is accused of misrepresenting the urgency of needed repairs to at least two customers, and then charging an unusually high price for the services. The company is also accused of not getting the required permit to do the work.

We contacted the company's owner and he tells us he knows nothing about lawsuit, and is working with an attorney to find out more.

The attorney general's office also filed suit Wednesday against two improvement contractors, Patriot Restoration and Reliable Home Improvements. They're accused of using high pressure door-to-door sales tactics.
