Farmland teen dies in bull-riding mishap

An Indiana teen has died after a bull-riding accident in Grant County.

Caleb Tinsman of Farmland, 18, suffered trauma to the chest and abdomen from a bull while riding at the 4-H Fairgrounds in Marion.

The Star Press of Muncie reports Tinsman was a senior at Randolph County's Union High School. He was participating in an event sponsored by the Southern Extreme Bull Riding Association.

Deputy Coroner Chris Butche tells the Chronicle-Tribune that Tinsman's death Friday night has been ruled accidental.
