Vehicles broken into at Outlet Mall

Posted: Updated:

There were several car break-ins at the Edinburgh Outlet Mall on Friday. Calls came in around 1 p.m.

Two cars had the locks drilled out.

"That is very unusual, " said Edinburgh Police Chief David Mann.

The Chief says there were seven cars total broken into at the Outlet Mall, Exit 76 Antique Mall, and one in the Cracker Barrel parking lot.

Laptops seemed to be the primary target. Cash and wallets also taken from cars.

Chief Mann says he does believe one or several people working together burglarized these cars. Edinburgh PD continue to investigate.
