COLUMBUS -

Columbus Police say they've found the body of a woman who went missing a week ago.

Officers say the body is that of Vonda D. Fivecoat, 57. They found her body on Friday inside her SUV, which was located in a brush line just west of Marr Road and south of Rocky Ford Road in Columbus. A resident called in with a tip about the vehicle.

Fivecoat was last seen Dec. 20th at her home near the intersection of Beech and Tulip Drives in Columbus. Columbus Police were investigating her disappearance.

Investigators believe the SUV left Marr Road, traveled across a field and stopped in the brush line sometime before Wednesday's heavy snow storm. Branches weighed down by snow covered the vehicle, making it difficult to see.

The woman's identity and cause of death have not been confirmed. Police detectives are processing the scene and conducting a death investigation.
