A man was injured in a house fire Thursday morning on the Indianapolis south side.
Indianapolis firefighters were called to the 1300 block of Briar Meadow Court before 9:00 am.
They found a small kitchen fire in the home. It took about five minutes to get the fire under control.
Eleven IFD units responded to the fire. Damage was estimated at $10,000, and the investigation is ongoing.
A neighbor reported seeing a man rolling on the ground and yelling near the home. The extent of his burns are not known at this time. He's being treated at Wishard Hospital.
