Two wounded in east Indianapolis shooting

INDIANAPOLIS -

Two people were injured in a shooting on the east side of Indianapolis Tuesday evening.

The shooting happened in the 3000 block of Adams Street around 6:45 p.m. Officers at the scene found one victim inside a vehicle and another outside the vehicle, both apparently suffering from gunshot wounds.

Two victims were transported to Methodist Hospital, both in critical condition. Investigators have not been able to identify either victim at this time.
