Metro police are investigating a west side crash that killed a woman on Thursday.
IMPD says the crash was reported just before 8:00 p.m. in the 2800 block of Country Club Rd., just south of Crawfordsville Rd.
IMPD spokesman Officer Kendale Adams said the driver of the car, Joseph Rohr, 20, Indianapolis, was offered tests for impairment as a matter of investigative routine. Adams said, however, that it appears the crash was an accident.
Adams said the identity of the woman would be released after the coroner's officer concludes its investigation.
There are no sidewalks in the immediate area of the incident.
