You hear about kids who grow up in dual Jewish and Christian households and get to celebrate both Hanukkah and Christmas.
Grouplove drummer Ryan Rabin is the opposite: he gets neither. Rabin is Jewish but his family hasn't observed Hanukkah in years. He says he feels totally cheated around this time of year -- so he becomes a mooch.
Rabin says he always tries to get himself invited to Christmas Eve dinner at the parents of Grouplove guitarist Andrew Wessen, because Wessen's mom makes incredible food.
Hanukkah begins tomorrow evening.
