More restrictions on I-69 in Fishers

Posted: Updated:
FISHERS -

You could see some more slow downs if you use I-69 as part of your daily commute.

The area at 116th street and State Road 37, which is already under construction, will narrow down to one northbound lane starting at 7 o'clock Thursday morning.

Crews are going to pave asphalt along the left lane, meaning drivers from the 116th street ramp will have to yield to traffic exiting northbound I-69 to SR 37. It should be back to normal by one o'clock this afternoon. Crews are trying to get the area ready for winter to allow enough room for snow plows to get through.

The main traffic on 69 shouldn't be affected, but as you probably have been doing since this construction began, it's good to give yourself a little extra time today.

There will be more lane restriction over the next few days.
