DAYTON -

A Tippecanoe County woman has died from injuries sustained in a fire at her home.

Firefighters responded to the fire Tuesday morning at a duplex in the 700 block of Cagles Mill Drive in Dayton. Dorothy Sollers, 63, was pulled from the home by neighbors and others who were at the scene. She was taken to IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette, before being transported to Wishard Hospital in Indianapolis for treatment.

She died at the hospital Tuesday evening.

Three of the people who helped Sollers from the home were also treated for minor burns and smoke inhalation.

The fire remains under investigation, but no obvious signs that the fire was intentionally set have been found.
