They struck out in the love department. And it appears Shakira and her ex-boyfriend aren't doing so well in the legal arena, either.
The ex is suing Shakira for $100 million. A lawyer for Antonio de La Rua says the Shakira didn't leave her former lover any other option but to go to court to collect what he feels he's owed for managing her career.
The attorney says his client tried to talk things over with Shakira but she refused. De la Rua is the son of former Argentine President Fernando de la Rua.
The couple dated for more than a decade before they split up last year.
The suit was filed last month.
No immediate response from Shakira's reps on the lawsuit.
