Chris Brown will not be facing criminal charges for snatching a woman's cellphone when she tried to snap a photo of him.
A memo released by Miami-Dade County State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle says there is no evidence Brown intended to steal the phone - or that he deleted any photos once he got his hands on it. The law requires that he would have had to do either of those things to be charged with robbery or theft.
A felony count could have been a violation of Brown's probation in the 2009 beating of Rihanna - his girlfriend at the time. In the Miami club incident, the woman tried to take Brown's picture after he left with two women.
A security officer for Brown told authorities Brown was upset that if pictures of him with two women ended up on the Internet, it would upset Rihanna.
