Juevol Myles scored 26 points while pulling six rebounds and dishing out six assists to lead hot shooting South Dakota to an 88-68 victory over IUPUI on Saturday night.
Myles was 9 of 14 from the field including three 3-pointers. Trevor Gruis and Brandon Bos each scored 16 points and Karim Rowson chipped in with 15 and nine rebounds.
South Dakota (4-4, 1-1 Summit) was unconscious from the field in the first half, making 17 of its first 25 attempts, shooting at a 68% clip. The Coyotes were 28 of 33 from the free-throw line compared to IUPUI, which was only 5 of 7.
John Hart scored 29 points in the loss for IUPUI (3-6, 0-2). Hart scored a lay-up to cut South Dakota's lead to two at 29-27 with 6:18 to play in the first half but the Coyotes went on a 20-6 run to close out the half.
