Rotnei Clarke scored 15 points and Butler defeated Ball State 67-53 on Saturday.
Andrew Smith added 12 points and Khyle Marshall scored 10 points and had six rebounds for the Bulldogs (5-2). The game was tied at 33 at halftime, but Butler used a 10-0 run early in the second half to take control.
Clarke made just 5 of 18 shots, but had five assists for the Bulldogs. Butler shot 41% from the field and Ball State made 44% of its shots.
Jesse Berry was the only Ball State in double figures with 12 points. Majok Majok had a game-high 10 rebounds for the Cardinals, who have dropped four in a row.
Butler next faces IUPUI and Northwestern before playing No. 1 Indiana in two weeks.
