DEARBORN, MO -

One trip to a convenience store, several lives changed forever.

Mark and Cindy Hill of Dearborn, MO are the winners of half of Wednesday's whopping $587.5 million Powerball jackpot. They held a news conference today and claimed their winnings.

The couple and their four children say they are committed to staying normal and grounded, despite what has happened to them, but do admit there could be a change or two on the way.

"We won the lottery and he goes, 'What?' And I say, 'we've won the lottery.' And he says, 'I'll meet you at my Mom's,' and when he got there we said, 'Aren't you excited?' And he goes, 'I really got to look at this...you really have it to show it to me,'" said Cindy Hill.

Mark Hill, a mechanic, caught himself price checking items yesterday at the store.

"Yeah, we had to get toothpaste and stuff like that and I found myself at the store still looking at the prices of stuff. Old habits are hard to break," said Mark Hill.

"We know the value of a dollar. So other than a few trips here and there and the college funds we're just the same people. My husband is keeping the same old pick-up. So...he did ask for a Red Camaro though. I have to say that," said Cindy.

A second confirmed winner, who purchased the golden ticket at a store in suburban Phoenix, still has not been publicly identified.
