Roger Daltrey believes The Who have finally figured out how to stage "Quadrophenia" properly.
He says they had trouble staging it even back in 1973. The Who are playing "Quadrophenia" in its entirely on their current tour. Daltrey also feels better about how he sounds. He says he had been singing with a vocal condition that has been corrected, so his voice is feeling "wonderful."
Pete Townshend says they don't go for the jugular the way they used to in their early days. However, he says he can feel from the crowd response that they're getting it.
The Who play tonight and tomorrow outside Chicago.
