Kokomo police investigate Village Pantry robbery

Police in Kokomo are investigating a robbery at a convenience store Sunday night.

Officers say a clerk at the Village Pantry at 2021 S. Goyer Road reported a strong arm robbery around 9:20 p.m. Monday.

The employee told police two white individuals entered the store and locked the front door behind them. One of the suspects demanded money from the register as the other entered the store's office and took an undisclosed amount of money. After taking the money, the suspects fled on foot.

Police say no weapons were shown during the robbery. One of the suspects was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, the other was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt.
