A second student from Earlham College has died after succumbing to injuries sustained in a train accident Nov. 9th.

The Montgomery County coroner's office said Lenore Edwards has died. Edwards is the second student to die after being struck in the early morning hours after walking home from "College Night at the Depot" with friends. Therese Heymann of California died at the scene.

The three students were walking back from a night out when they were struck by a train at the intersection of North 8th and E Streets. Train personnel saw the students standing close to the track while gesturing to the train. The force of the impact sent the students flying into fixed objects, according to Richmond Police.

Lenore Edwards was from St. Louis.
