Marcus Miller: jazz artist injured in Swiss bus wreck

GENEVA -

Bass player Marcus Miller and several members of his jazz band were injured when their bus flipped on a busy highway in Switzerland.

Authorities say Miller and the band member suffered no life-threatening injuries - but the driver died in the wreck.

There were 13 people aboard the bus, 11 of them members of Miller's band. Miller has worked with jazz greats like Miles Davis, Dizzy Gillespie and Wayne Shorter. He's won two Grammys - the most recent one in 2001.

Miller and the group were headed from Monte Carlo to the Netherlands, where they were to perform today. No immediate word on the status of that show.
