    A central Indiana official says the tough conditions opponents of a planned wind farm are seeking for the project would leave little room for the proposed power-generating wind turbines.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Fort Wayne Bishop Luers won its fourth consecutive 2A football championship with a 40-28 victory over Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter.

The Knights opened a 20-point lead in the second quarter then held off a fourth-quarter Raiders rally inside Lucas Oil Stadium.

Bishop Luers scored 27 straight points in the second quarter as Jaylon Smith rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns. He finished with 150 yards and three touchdowns.

Smith iced the game with a 16-yard touchdown run with 2:36 left in the game. Quarterback Quinn Cook threw for 87 yards and a touchdown.

Jake Purichia threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns for the Raiders. Jake Hagan was on the receiving end of all three scores and posted nine catches for 138 yards.

Cardinal Ritter entered the game a perfect 14-0 and had averaged 51 points per game, but Bishop Luers defense was dominant in the first half.
