Bobby Bare: country legend returns to the studio

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE -

It was the place where he recorded many of the tunes that made him a country music legend.

But when Bobby Bare returned to RCA Studio B 50 in Nashville, Tennessee, he says he got a flashbacks - even though he was in familiar surroundings. He says he "saw Chet Atkins there everywhere" he turned. The result is a new album released week.

It includes, among other things, a cover of the U2 song "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."

Despite it having a rock pedigree, Bare insists when you strip it down, "it's a country song."
