An SUV caught fire on Interstate 65 just west of Meridian Street Tuesday morning. The car is blocking the right two lanes of southbound traffic.
Nobody was seriously injured.
The driver of the SUV said he lost control on wet pavement and sideswiped a semi-trailer before his vehicle caught fire shortly before 3:30 a.m.
State Police are directing traffic to the far left lane to go around the accident scene.
