Franklin College routed Adrian 42-10 in their NCAA Division III football playoff game Saturday.
The Grizzlies (9-2) advanced to the second round, which will be Nov. 24, while the Bulldogs finish their season with a 9-2 mark.
After being held scoreless in the opening quarter, Franklin put up four touchdowns in the second period and held a 28-10 lead at halftime.
FC junior quarterback Jonny West completed 24 of 37 passes for 303 yards and 4 touchdowns to lead the Griz offensive attack.
Junior split end Kyle Linville made 9 receptions for 176 yards and 3 touchdowns and senior running back Luke Hamm rushed 10 times for 68 yards and a score.
The Grizzlies piled up 511 total yards of offense Adrian's 225.
