A woman died early Friday morning when her car struck a tree on Vandergriff Road, north of I-74 in Franklin Township.
Emergency crews found the woman, described as white, in her twenties, after a passing car spotted her vehicle against a tree in the 9500 block of Vandergriff and called 911 around 2:30 a.m. Friday.
EMT's pronounced her dead at the scene after fire crews worked to free her from the 2011 Chevy she was driving.
